It seems fate smiles upon Belgian rider Zoé Conter these days, as she added yet other really good results to her record during the 10th week of the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington. First, with talented DOLITAIRE CHAVANNAISE (E.O.) (Cicero Z/Voltaire – breeder: Y. Evrard in B-6960 Manhay), who offered her 1st place of the CSI3* 1.40m event, but also 9th place of the FEI $36,000 1.45m event and 11th over 1.50m. But her second horse, DAVIDOFF DE LASSUS (Ugano Sitte (E.T.)/Ksar Sitte – breeder: E. Payelle in B-7602 Bury), has nothing to be jealous of, as he also standed out that week in Wellington, especially in the FEI $36,000 Equinimity WEF Challenge, where he claimed the 2nd place or again in the Horseware Ireland Grand Prix CSI3* where he and Zoé ranked 11th.

Another SBS horse played its cards right in Wellington, namely ARENA DU PACHIS (E.O.) (Dollar de la Pierre/Ogano Sitte (E.T.) – breeder: M. Simon in B-6860 Leglise) given that she won 11th place twice with her rider Alejandro Karolyi (VEN) in both 1.30m Open Jumper events on the 13th and the 15th of March.

At the Ocala Winter Celebration $100,000 Sullivan GMC Truck Grand Prix, Michael Morrissey (USA) and CHANCE STE-HERMELLE (E.O.) (Calvaro/Hemmingway – breeders: M-Th. Dumont & A. Lefevre in B-6181 Gouy-Lez-Pieton) won the 4th place and a $8000,00 prize. BOUDIKA IDEAL HOME (E.O.) (Castelino van de Helle/Super de Bourriere – breeder: J-M. Dessy in B-5580 Rochefort), rode by Kady Abrahamson (USA), also imposed herself and claimed the 11th place of this Grand Prix.

AYMA DE LA DEMI-LUNE (E.O.) (Cardento/Darco – breeder: Haras de la Demi-Lune in B-1430 Rebecq) distinguished herself by last week’s great rankings: first, she won an excellent 6th place during the $30,000 SmartPak Grand prix on March 15th with rider Hannah Loly (USA), and then few days later she finished 12th  of the AIG $1 Million Grand Prix with Keri Potter (USA). Coachella definitely seems to be a success for the mare, but the $1 Million Grand Prix also saw 2 others great SBS horses ranking themselves: CALYPSO VAN DE ZUUTHOEVE (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve/Thunder van de Zuuthoeve – breeder: R. Vets in B-2500 Lier) with Laura Hite (USA) at the 10th place and a 16th place for HH AZUR GARDEN’S HORSES (E.O.) (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve/Sir Lui – breeder: N. Beaufort in B-8600 Pervijze)  aka HH AZUR with 2017-World Cup winner McLain Ward (USA).
