Identification of a horse
Every equine, staying more than three months in Belgium, must carry an electronic transponder (microchip), and have a valid passport. The Belgian Confederation of the Horse (CBC – BCP) proposes an identification procedure, designed for horses that are not identified at birth and/or are recently imported on Belgian soil.
