Board of Directors

The Royal Belgian Sports Horse Society ASBL is headed by a Board of Directors composed of the following members :

Mrs Sandrine VANDENBEMPT, engineer, represents the Walloon Region and is a member of the Board of Directors. She verifies that the decisions are made in conformity with the Breeding Service of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Middle Classes. The Board of Directors meets once a month and discusses day-to-day questions related to the Society’s activities.

Ordinary Members (Membership)

Any person (physical or moral) can become a member of the Stud-Book sBs by paying an annual fee, for the year 2012 fixed at 65 Euro for Belgium, 80 Euro for the other European countries and 140 USD for the rest of the world.
This fee covers the civil year and is to be paid as of January. 

Effective Members

There are 48 effective members elected for 6 years by mandate by the ordinary members.
They appoint the Board of Directors composed of 12 Members, elected amongst them.

General Assembly

The General Assembly is composed of all effective members. They meet once a year and elect, if necessary, the new directors as well as the members of the jury.
The General Assembly empowers the members of the board to manage the Society, approves the budget, appoints 2 auditors to verify the accounts, etc...

General Meeting

It is a forum in which all members are invited to attend. The President gives his annual speech and the General Secretary presents the financial report for the previous year.
The calendar of the competitions for the current season is finalized. Comments, proposals and suggestions of the members are also recorded.

Daily Management

Mrs Anne-Françoise FABRY is the secretary, assisted by Mrs Michèle DELAURIER. Mrs Catherine AERTS is responsible for Communication and Public Relations, Mrs Birgit SCHULPZAND for promotion, Mrs Ornella IANNETTA for foreign relations and Miss Christel AGRAMME is in charge of our website.
